Antique 0.96 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1925

Description

An excellent Art Deco diamond engagement ring. The slightly cushion-shaped old European cut diamond in the centre is secured within a square collet, with step-down shoulders set with 12 (six each side) eight-cut diamonds, leading to a slender platinum shank. A ring featuring the clear, strong lines associated with Art Deco jewellery.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut: Old European cut in the centre. Eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour: G in the centre. G to H in the shoulders.

Clarity: SI2 in the centre. VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders.

Carat: 0.96 carat in the centre, with a further approximate 0.15 carat in the shoulders.

Circa: 1925.

Size: M (UK) or 6 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The diamond is 5.52 x 5.85mm and sits 5.6mm from the finger.

Weight: 2.97 grams.

Metal: Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
