This Stunning Pair of Antique Silver-Plated Vases are a superb example of Victorian silver craftsmanship, combining rich repoussé detailing with the elegant refinement for which the maker is renowned. Marked for the renowned maker Elkington & Co. and with the letter ‘O’ for the year 1875, these vases feature intricately modelled putti nestled among lush, deeply textured foliage - each figure rendered in full relief with striking expression and movement.

Set on ornate circular bases with gadroon and anthemion detailing, these vases are a triumph of both technical artistry and romantic design. Their sculptural quality makes them as suitable for display as for use, whether as bud vases, desk accents, or part of a collection.
