Collinge Antiques has dated this Louis Xvi Side Cabinet to the 1930s.
Bright tulipwood veneers arranged in a crossbanded and symmetrical pattern across the front and sides, with inlaid borders and decorative brass mounts and escutcheons. Note the vertical moulding on the lower door to resemble the slats of a tambour. Shaped apron with a brass mount at the centre and shaped front legs with a crossbanded edge brass mounts to the feet. Superior quality with solid mahogany groundwork, oak drawer linings and back panels. Excellent colour and condition, keys supplied for all three locks.
