Beneath is a fall-front leather writing surface supported by shaped gallery sides, opening to a fitted interior with pigeonholes and dividers for stationery and documents.The lower section comprises a bank of drawers � two small drawers over three full-width drawers � all fitted with period copper handles. The piece stands on a plinth base and includes a working lock and key for the upper cabinet.
