A beautiful very well preserved and charming late Victorian English dressing table mirror in light beech/fruitwood with a shaped base, scroll side supports and a tilting swivel frame, a classic “toilet mirror” that brings warm country house character to a bedroom, hallway console or boutique display.
Made late 1900s, it is in very good condition, the polished finish showing only very minor signs of wear an for the age the glass is very well preserved.
The tilt mechanism works and holds angle, the mirror sits solidly on its serpentine plinth with little bun/rolled feet, and the softly rounded corners give it the understated Victorian feel that pairs well with vintage as well as modern interiors.
Perfect for daily grooming on a dressing chest, for an entryway last-look station, or as a practical prop for retail, salons, wedding make-up tables and photography; if using in a bathroom, keep it away from direct moisture to
... preserve the finish.
A useful, decorative piece with real British heritage and a lived-in patina that modern reproductions can’t fake.
