Here we have a modern but early piece of Silver by renowned post-war silversmith Leslie Gordon Durbin, (1913-2005).
He studied at the Central School of Arts 1926-9 and was apprenticed to Omar Ramsden between 1929 and 1938.
With reeded handle and scroll finial, rat tail and hammered detail to the reverse of the bowl.
Hallmarked for London 1950.
Measuring 17cm in length, 4.5cm bowl diameter & 5.5cm bowl length, weighing approximately 54 grams.
In very good condition, hallmarks are clear, sits well, nice design, some usual signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
