Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.

The solid 14ct gold case is slightly oversize for the period measuring 266 wide and 37mm long excluding the original crown.
The case edges are sharp and crisp, the serrations on the original winding crown are sharp. The watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and rarely worn

The movement is a fine calibre 9LT which is quite rare and very high quality, this was Longines highest grade movement of this period. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 10 seconds per day , not bad for a 70 year old watch. The serial number dates this watch to 1955.

It has a beautiful Art deco case with hooded lugs and stepped sides.
The beautiful dial is near perfect with stunning faceted hour markers that catch the light and very unusual asymmetric hands that just shout Art Deco

Its the most original and perfect unrestored example you will ever see
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
We have fitted a soft chocolate brown strap but we can fit any colour or style you prefer.

A very rare high quality collectors piece that can be handed down through the generations.
You will never see another one like it.
