Hutton-Clarke Antiques is pleased to offer this shallow French oak buffet, circa 1850. A charming provincial piece in solid oak with lovely warm colour and patina. The top section features three drawers with decorative mouldings and original brass knobs, above a pair of panelled doors carved with floral motifs and scrollwork. Retaining its original brass escutcheons and working keys, the doors open to reveal a single fixed shelf inside. Standing on shaped supports with a scalloped apron, this elegant yet practical buffet is of shallow depth, ideal for hallways or smaller rooms.Height 113 cm, width 116 cm, depth 45 cm
