Small French Palais Royal Ormulu and Glass Scent Bottle, Circa 1880

Description

This is an exquisite and unusual 19th Century French ormulu mounted clear glass scent bottle. The small square glass body with an ormulu neck. The conforming hinged lid inset with a glazed cabochon decorated with a spray of flowers. Opens to reveal the original clear glass stopper.

Dimensions:

Height: 5m / 2 inches.

Base : 2cm x 2cm / 0.7 inches x 0.7 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Glass and ormulu mounts in very good condition.

Ceramic cabochon in good condition.

Strong hinge.
