Description

A finely made French oak bedside cabinet fitted with its original rouge marble top and white porcelain-lined cupboard. Features a single drawer above an open shelf and a panelled door carved with a restrained floral motif, all raised on elegant fluted tapering legs.

Compact and practical, the piece reflects turn-of-the-century provincial craftsmanship and the enduring influence of the Louis XVI style. The marble top adds a refined note, while the porcelain liner within the lower compartment shows its original function as a table de nuit (bedside cabinet).

Presented in very good antique condition with a warm aged surface and minor marks consistent with use. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
