An Art Nouveau Mahogany Triple Wardrobe C1900

1900 - 1920
Description

An Art Nouveau Mahogany triple wardrobe and dating from around 1900. This beautifully designed wardrobe has a flared moulded cornice with a wide frieze lip underneath. It has a central mirrored door in very good condition. The door on the left has a carved and moulded panel to the top with a moulded and carved panel underneath and original brass handle. Behind these two doors is a shelf with a rail underneath and on the right is a short door with the same carved panel as the top left also with original brass handle and a rail inside. Underneath this door are three graduating Ash lined drawers with original brass handles. The wardrobe is moulded around the bottom and sits on a plinth on bun feet. It separates into six pieces for ease of movement.
