Handsome black iron and brass French king size bed. Professionally and sympathetically extended and restored. Hand painted finish in Little Green paint company in Jet black and waxed to preserve. Attractive brass rod ends and ball joints have been lightly polished to preserve natural finish. Lovely clover leaf detail in clamp casting. Side rails have been extended, strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. Suitable for standard king size mattress 150cm x 200cm/5' x 6'6".

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. This bed is photographed with a 2" deep base. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 30 years. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
