A beautifully proportioned late Victorian walnut hallstand featuring a central bevelled mirror flanked by four elegantly scrolling coat and hat hooks. The design is both practical and decorative, with the characteristic warmth and depth of walnut lending a rich tone to the piece. The stand incorporates a small raised glove box with a hinged lid and a shaped support below, terminating in a rectangular base fitted with its original removable drip tray — ideal for umbrellas or walking sticks.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. Staining and splitting to the base. Fading and staining to the lid. Mark to the hanging back.
