A provincial Windsor farmhouse dining chair in elm, ash and beech, dating from the late 19th century. The chair features a solid curved top rail above a ring-turned central splat with block detail, over a well-figured saddled elm seat. Raised on ring-turned, splayed legs united by a traditional H-stretcher. A fine example of honest country craftsmanship with pleasing proportions and colour.
This attractive chair remains in good, original condition throughout and presents beautifully.
