The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The outside of the cup has a stylised gilt border, acanthus leaf detail and edging to the handle and both pieces finished with gilt dentil rims. Pattern number 6619 painted in red over a small factory mark, possibly a decorator's mark. c.1840.

The cup measures 5.2cm (2 1/16") high to the rim and 10.4cm (4 1/16") rim to rim. The saucer measures 14.3cm (5 5/8") wide.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear.
