Magnificent exhibition quality antique Victorian Italian profusely carved solid walnut pair of side cupboards
 
having superior quality figured walnut tops with a carved edge above a pair of cupboard panel doors with exhibition quality carvings of gladiators, animals, swags, scrolls and animal heads opening to reveal a shelved interior. The carved solid walnut side panels are remarkable as are the profusely carved plinths they are raised on.
 
The quality and craftsmanship of this pair is breathtakingly astounding. Even though not marked it would have most certainly been a commissioned piece of importance by a premium maker of this period. The colour and patination is incredibly attractive on these remarkable cabinets.
