A delightful late 17th-century oak gateleg table with an oval-shaped top, two drop leaves and a drawer to one end. The gates and legs are united by stretchers, with both having ball-knopped baluster legs and terminating on ball feet.
The overall condition is extremely solid with no rot or worm damage present. One small ring mark to the top and other age-related wear and tear, as is to be expected with a much-loved table of this age.
A stylish example of its type and still a useful item in the modern home.
