Description

Early C20th pair of mahogany library steps of unusual form; Provenance 'London Library'; the angled front supports housing the large platform top step with a single step below having turned legs to the rear united by stretchers. The left hand side having the very useful feature of a turned mahogany supporting handrail. One having a label to the underside for 'London Library - 14 St James's Square, London SW1' Good rich colour and surface. (Could be sold separately.)
