Magnificent Regency faux marble neoclassical wine cistern / jardiniere; grand scale with exceptional original painted decoration; the oval top having a moulded rim above the exaggerated ogee shaped body with vertical flutes raised on a stepped solid plinth base. Either side flanked with exceptional large finely carved rams heads with scrolling horns, having a realistic bronzed finish. The interior with a removable zinc liner having small folding carrying handles. The original paintwork accurately simulating ''Breccia Rosso'' marble.
