Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
With a well figured oval seat, and shaped open hand hold, standing on four slightly outward splayed legs, each with rounded shoulders, over concave collars, as the shaped legs taper to ring capped toes. The legs joined by off set shaped and tapered stretchers.

Date circa 1850.
