Woven in Armenia at the beginning of the 20th century these charming rugs are named for their dynamic medallions that appear to be either like exploding light or an eagle coming in to land. Either way, they are boldly graphic and the simple colours of brick red, green and yellow get along famously. Good condition examples can easily reach many thousands of pounds and so here is a chance for a bargain if you don't mind the wear and homespun repairs. Still good for the floor in a quiet area.
