A beautiful set of four late 18th-century Chippendale-style dining chairs in excellent condition.
These wonderful chairs feature intricate ornate pierced Gothic-style back splats and a styled curved top rail with shaped scroll-carved ears. Supported by channelled legs and braced by stretchers which have also been ornately shaped, pierced and stylised, adding a delightful visual feature. Also supplied with padded, upholstered drop-in seats covered in a pale floral material.
The overall condition is very good with some signs of wear and tear, as is to be expected from usage and age, but these are in extremely good condition throughout. A wonderful set of chairs.
