A fantastic antique mahogany cabinet / chest on legs. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.It has a stylish and elegant design, the quality is outstanding. This looks like a regular chest on chest, but three of the upper drawers are actually dummy drawers that open as a door to reveal a cabinet space. There is a pull out slide below the cabinet, so this would be great as a drinks cabinet, or as a bedroom storage piece. The cornice has lovely teardrop moulding, this stands on cabriole legs with shell carving at the knees.
