~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
Across banks of rolling cloud a lively company of putti play, their attributes alluding to the arts, while the circular dial is set to the centre in a moulded bezel.

The large white porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals and original finely pierced gilt brass hands, is set within a bezel with convex glass.
The French movement is of superb quality and is by Japy Frères. It is in excellent, clean running order, having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. The pendulum is a replacement. The movement runs for eight days and strikes the hours and half-hours on a bell. A demonstration video is available to both hear the strike and observe the clock in operation, please ask and we will send you a link.

Condition of the case is excellent, the gilding is in very good condition with some tarnish and discolouration. The dial is also very good, it has faded over time and has hairlines and a chip next to the right hand winding hole.

Japy Freres clockmaker's mark on the movement backplate.
Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
