Never again will you be able to buy this exact armchair, its been fully restored from top to bottom, this is the most desirable Howard Armchair model every made, the Ivor, it also has the rarest foot option, the hand carved Claw & Ball Cabriolets, this is important, collectable and it screams English quality craftsmanship

For those of you that are unaware of Howard & Son's chairs, our late Queen had I think the largest private collection in the world which will of course now have passed on to Kind Charles, they are the finest, hand made in England pieces of seating ever designed and the most famous chairs in the world, they are highly collectable and extremely valuable

This chair has a mahogany frame, it has been stripped back, then reupholstered in Italian Russet hide leather, this hide is way more expensive than basic hide, it goes on plain as that was the traditional way to upholster it, the leather has been held in place with individually hand nail tacked antiques studs, the chair was then sent to my leather polishers where it was hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, again all in keeping with the traditional methods
