A pretty George III provincial silver tea caddy spoon with deeply dished, square bowl. The centre profusely decorated with a bright cut engraved background reserving a daisy type flowering plant. A finely engraved double band frames the vignette, finishing with a small stylised vine leaf in the base of the handle, and a further fine band runs all around just inside the edge. There is a small monogram to the handle. Hallmarked to the reverse, lion passant, the King''s head, town assay mark for Newcastle and maker initials for John Robertson II & John Watson, no date letter but the partnership was active between 1811-1820.

It measures 7.5cm (3'') long and 4cm (1 9/16'') wide and weighs 11g / 0.4ozt.
In excellent condition with no damage, dings or repairs and minimal handling wear.
