Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The buffet has a three tiers, at the top a counter top with a deep carved edge below which encloses a long drawer and a highly carved apron on either side there are 2 lions masks with brass rings in their mouths, below this there are two more tiers with carved edges and a deep carved plinth at the base

The front edge and legs of the buffet are exquisitely carved even the back legs are full of carvings, depicting, lions masks, faces of kings, cats and fruit
This is a superb early piece of Green Man Oak and dates from around 1870 it is in fine condition for its 150 or so years of age but there will be some surface marks appropriate to its age and use
The buffet stands 40” high , 38” wide and it is 23” deep
