Description

A Burr Walnut twin pedestal desk and dating from around 1920. This original pedestal desk has a gold embossed, leather writing surface and a cross banded and moulded edge to the top. It has a central drawer over the knee hole with two graduating drawers to each side on the pedestal, all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles and keys. The desk has a carved moulded edge to the bottom and it has a polished back. It stands on cabriole legs on pad feet and the legs are carved to the shoulder.
