This is an exceptional example of a gents watch made by the premier swiss maker Girard Perregaux.
The watch case is of polished stainless steel which is extremely robust and durable which enables you to use it as an everyday watch or equally for special occasions, it is very much of the Art Deco design.
The dial, hands and crown are completely original and in outstanding condition and it looks as though it was rarely worn.
This is a rare and desireable watch which is very sought after by collectors.
The watch comes with a presentation box to keep it in perfect condition.
As you would expect from Girard Perrageaux the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
There are NO inscriptions either inside the case or on the back.
The watch has just been fully serviced by the respected Vintage watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Girard Perregaux in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
Girard Perregaux are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated but elegant look.
The watch case measures 31mm in diameter.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
