A mahogany chest of drawers from the Arts and Crafts period, British, circa 1900. The design features five drawers in a two-over-three arrangement, each fitted with shaped brass escutcheons and ring drop handles. The drawer fronts are framed by slender stiles, with a subtle moulded edge running around the top. The chest stands on a solid plinth base, and the drawer linings reveal traditional dovetail joints. An elegant storage piece with well-proportioned simplicity.
