Antique Victorian 18ct Gold, Emerald & Diamond Oval Cluster Brooch – Circa 19th Century
A superb Victorian oval cluster brooch crafted in tested 18ct yellow gold, set with a beautiful emerald and old-cut diamond arrangement.
The brooch centres on a vivid square-cut emerald of approximately 0.50ct, flanked by two old-cut diamonds of around 0.25ct each. Surrounding the centre is an elegant open oval border, pavé-set with twenty old-cut diamonds, each approximately 0.05ct, giving an estimated total diamond weight of 1.50ct.
The reverse retains its original pin and hook fitting, and the piece is stamped ‘SS18’ (tested 18ct).
Origin: Victorian period, circa late 19th century
