Description

A small elegant wine cooler made of Old Sheffield Plate. Bearing no makers marks but dating to c1780. With an inlaid silver cartouche to one side bearing the crest of a hand holding a broken arrow. Tinned and seamed to the interior. Good solid piece with substantial handles.

In good condition overall with a slight ripple to the rim, small bump to the reverse and slight copper bleed to the raised edges.
