The top lifts, swivels and turns over to reveal a beautifully inlaid chess board, with original blue paper lined compartment for storing chess pieces. In good condition with good colour and patina, this wonderful elegant table would make a great lamp table in a living room or hall, folding over for a game of chess when the occasion arises.
