A good quality late Georgian figured mahogany chest of drawers.
C.1830.
The chest has a bow shaped front which incorporates four drawers. Two short drawers to the top, over two long graduating drawers. The drawers are all particularly deep and are oak lined, making them very robust and strong.
The mahogany is beautifully flame figured, with a rich glowing colour and patina.
The drawers retain the original brass escutcheons and locks.
Standing on very elegant splay-feet.
Excellent antique condition. Expected signs of age and use. All drawers open easily and smoothly.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
