A fantastic vintage sapphire and diamond ring. The sapphire in the centre - certified as natural, unheated, and originating from Myanmar (Burma) - is secured in a four claw platinum collet with triangular shaped detailing in the gallery. A pair of white and bright old European cuts (approximately 0.25 carat each) flank the centre stone, and lead to a slim platinum shank. Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no evidence of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin. Cut: Cushion cut sapphire and old European cut diamonds. Colour: The diamonds are H to I. Clarity: The diamonds are SI1 and VS2 respectively. Carat: The sapphire is 1.59 carat.
