British Tower Flintlock Pistol, C.1770–1815 — Crown/gr & Tower Marked; Lock Stamped “brasher”, Brass Furniture, Walnut Stock With Period Wear; Flintlock Action In Working Order. A Solid Napoleonic-era Service Pistol.

A genuine British military flintlock pistol from the reign of King George III, stamped with the Crown over GR cypher and TOWER mark, indicating inspection at the Tower of London Armouries.
 
The lockplate also bears the name “BRASHER”, a documented London lock-maker active during the late 18th century, known for supplying parts and complete arms to the Ordnance.

Barrel: 9'' smoothbore with baluster ring at breech; faint proof marks.
 
Overall length: 39.5 cm.
 
Lock: Flintlock mechanism in working order; marked with Crown/GR, TOWER, and maker’s name “BRASHER.”
 
Furniture: Brass trigger guard, butt cap, and ramrod pipe.
 
Ramrod: Wooden ramrod with brass tip.
 
Stock: Walnut with honest wear, period cracks and old repairs commensurate with service. Please see photos.
 
Condition: Untouched patina to steel with age pitting; brass toned; stock stable with repairs; mechanism cocks and releases correctly (untested for firing).
