Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Mustard Pot - 1847

A fine antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot which has a plain hexagonal shaped body with pierced detailing, a hinged lid with an attractive thumb piece and resting on a flat base. The blue glass liner fits neatly within the body and remains in excellent condition. The mustard spoon is a later addition.
 
Height: 7.2 cms (2.8'')
 
Width: 6 cms (2.4'')
 
Weight (without the liner): 4.2 troy ounces (132 grams)
 
It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1847 by Henry Wilkinson & Co.
