Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1920s.
With cast brackets supporting two upper bars for hats and a lower bar fitted with 5 sliding coat hooks. This is a really good example, with wonderful detailing to the brackets, the bars terminating in ornate brass acorn finials (which can unscrew). With fantastic untouched patina to the brass, this is a good quality heavy piece. Would look great in a hall or in a bathroom for towels or even in a kitchen for hanging pots and pans.
