Factory marks: printed crowned roundel “Royal Worcester England”; registration Rd No 67080 (design registered 1887); impressed/incised “Hadley” signatures; Worcester dot-device dating reads 1892 on one figure and 1893 on the companion.

James Hadley (1837–1903) served as Worcester’s leading designer from the 1860s to 1895, responsible for the factory’s principal figure series and for the development of the blush ivory palette.
Collecting note: matched pairs of this scale, fully signed and cleanly dated within the early 1890s, are scarce and command strong collector interest.
