Antique Victorian locket, the locket is crafted in 9ct back and front yellow gold, with fine engraving to the front and reverse, the exquisitely engraved front with a clear shield shape cartouche, with a cheveron and bar surround edging, the scroll shape bale is double sided, alowwing the locket to be worn both sides, locket dates around 1895, measures a 48 mm with bale x 27.5 mm, the locket is in very good condition, no dents, splits or repairs, opens and closes with a good click, still with original frames, I expect only worn on a Sunday for best, as they did in Victorian times, marked 9ct back and front, the weight is a good 7.3 grams, super quality locket, comes in a luxury box
