Description

Very stylish and rare matching pair of Art Deco bookends. These are a great find and in exceptional condition. Originating from France and dating to the 1930s both stand on marble bases and depict stylized elephants in spelter which have been cold painted and rest on solid marble bases.

Both bookends are the mirror of each other and are free from damage or any noteworthy wear.

Can be admired just as ornaments as well as their intended us. Good size & weight, perfect for hardbacks & paper back books.
