Founders Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.

The craftsmanship and balance of proportion reflect the refined neoclassical influence of the Hepplewhite period and the piece is typical of well-executed late 18th-century work. Designed to sit neatly against a wall and when required, open into a full circular tea table. Its compact scale makes it an ideal piece for a hallway or living space.

Presented in very good antique condition with a rich aged patina and light surface wear. One front leg is a little bowed inwards, there are some historic veneer repairs in places and an old repair to one rear leg now stable. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1790.
