This is a beautiful late 19th century Chinese silver tau-handle cane, Circa 1890 in date.

The horned and whiskered five-toed dragon holding an oval opal cabochon, the handle terminal with a raised floral design, on an ebonised hardwood shaft that terminates in a blonde cow horn ferrule
