Attractive large, quality antique Victorian period, solid copper helmet-shaped coal scuttle with castellated seams.
 
Condition: Very good antique condition. Dimples to the lowest area of the body, near the foot and very minimal higher up. No dents or obvious depressions to the main, upper body. No holes. All aspects are sound and secure and the handle stays firmly upright (and folds down neatly). It has been cleaned and hand polished and is ready to use.
 
Impressed to the underside of the base with the maker''s mark for Henry Loveridge & Co, Wolverhampton.
