Tall Cherrywood Directoire Buffet

19th century
Description

A French cherry buffet of three drawers over two doors, from the directoire period, circa 1795-1800.

It has a beautiful clean design with diamond carvings topping the columns on either side - classic directoire style.

The top and two of the drawers have old repairs, it's a piece that has been loved. Substantial and well built, in beautiful antique condition.
