Rawlings Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The chest is very proportioned with five full width graduating drawers that have oak lined hand dovetail joints with a wonderful shaped front ,retaining their original brass drop handles and locks ,with a single key supplied .
It also has a very useful brushing slide above the bottom drawer . The whole standing on elegant cabriole Queen Anne legs with shell carved knees .
The chest remains in very good original condition with no woodworm or unsightly repairs .
It comes in two sections for transport .
