The impressive circular brooch is ornamented to the centre with an exceptional collet set Essex crystal panel, displaying a bird preparing for flight from a branch*.

The reverse of the setting is fitted with a push fit glass panel, which allows a personal memento or keepsake to be displayed.

This Victorian bird brooch secures to the reverse with a conventional hinged pin and clasp.

This antique Essex crystal brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
