The model reference number is the rare 166.011 Seamaster Oversize made for the Japanese market, this model is rarely seen in the UK.
The watch and its bracelet are completely original and untouched the only work we have carried out is to service the movement, ultrasonically clean the case and bracelet and replace the back seal.
The dial is original and untouched it has had no restoration, it has a very faint even surface patina that you expect to see on a 60 year old watch.
Even the armoured glass is original and in perfect condition.
This is a watch that was rarely worn.
Remarkably it comes with its original full length Omega beads of rice bracelet that will fit a wrist upto 20cm or 8 inches or we can fit a leather strap of your choice.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 36mm in diameter not including the crown which makes this an oversize model.
This was the largest Seamaster made in the early 1960s and the movement serial number indicates that it was made in 1965.
The watch has been fully serviced and comes with a one year warranty. It is running and keeping time to within original Omega specification.
