A fine Samson porcelain vase produced in Paris around 1870. Decorated in Famille Rose enamels with floral cartouches and armorial crest, the baluster body is flanked by Bacchic mask handles with vine leaves and grapes — an emblem of festivity and abundance.

Samson, founded in 1845, was internationally celebrated for its historicist porcelain, displayed at world fairs and collected by museums. This piece reflects the fusion of Eastern motifs with European heraldry that defined the workshop’s prestige. Raised white enamel, gilding, and hand-painted detail emphasize its artisanal quality.
