Marks: factory unmarked; underside with incised No. 44. Fully glazed inner base with a dry footring, consistent with French manufacture.
A sought-after Niderviller figure of c.1815 with crisp modelling and good original color, appealing to serious collectors.

Condition:
Small firing line to the right leg; firing crack to the underside with a minor rim chip, all from manufacture. Otherwise very good antique condition. Stand not included.
